Crower can make you one for around $800 and 6 month wait period.
A regrind is just take a stock cam and grinding the lobes to a different profile. You can get more lift and longer duration, but you can't change the LSA and some other factors. But you can get one for around $120.
Comp Cams should have a few 3x00 cams in production hopefully by the end of the summer.
On the camshaft page it says
" but for more radical grinds, custom length pushrods and custom tuning will be required to see decent gains. Here are the specs from my Crower regrind:
These are both considered radical grinds and will not work well with stock programming. Discussions on the forums have indicated that a good performance grind for these engines would have a duration of 206º intake / 210º exhaust (@ 0.050" lift) and a lobe lift around 0.295". This should still give you good idle quality, yet provide a gain in performance. "
would I need to change pushrods for any of these grinds? or just computer tuning?
Basically I'm looking for a good performance grind without changing more that the cam and the PCM, If it's possible.
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive
