Does anyone have experience with these units? They are very inexpensive, and look pretty ideal for carb'd motors. My main concern is that the intake manifold looks pretty squished.
My current build will feature a Holley 390, Edelbrock Torker II, headers and ARI stage 1 Cam. I expect close to 200 HP at the crank. Rule of thumb on non-intercooled superchargers seems to be around 40 percent increase over normally aspirated. Will one of their units take me to 280? Or is it engineered for stock 2.8s and be too restricive?
