Colt Cams - Custom Blower Cam

I found a company called Colt Cams in BC. (ww.coltcams.com) They are a custom cam grinder I talked to them and he said he can make up a blower cam for my 3.4. - Cost $126 + core. The specs he suggested are 210 @ 0.050 @ 435 (intake) and 216 @ 0.050 @ 450 and 112* L.S.A. He has made up a cam just like this allready for another customer with a 3.4 supercharged.

A: Does this sound like a good grind?

B: Has anyone heard of Colt Cams?

This seems too inexpensive to be real.

126 + core? that's one of the cheapest regrinds i've ever heard of...

and i don't know if i haven't woken up yet, but that seems more like a N/A cam to me...

Yeah I'm not a pro on cams, but that sounds a little off for a SC setup. I could be wrong though.

right, but spec-wise, it's what it sounds like...

If it is an iron head, it will want different specs than splayed valves with better I/E flow ratio. Probably close to the gen 2 but the gen 2 still has better intake flow.

I can't sim an iron head to see what that cam would do with a SC but its probably ok. Bit mild but with boost, you don't need extreme. My street/strip turbo cam is hard to beat, even compared to the race cam below it.
