  • n2o install/tb spacer

hey i was thinking installing wet kit on 95 ciera but i dont want to put a hole in my manifold. is there tb spacer for 3100 that i could use. i dont care if its pre drilled or not i just want to avoid drilling the manifold

I would actually be interested in a TB spacer as well since I was hoping to go back to the 3100 large bore intake this year, and then I realized I would loose my nitrous fitting since that's on the 3500 intake TB spacer.

TCE any chance you have one of these in the works, or plans for one?

You could drill some ports in the plenum spacers if TCE doesn't make any TB spacers.

No you cant, because then you need 6 nozzles... lol

Direct port is somewhere in the future but not this year. Also the Plenum spacers are phenolic... NOT the best material to drill and tap and hope that the threads hold, and mine are a bit thin for that. I had to fix them after they broke the o-ring walls off the inside when I tightened them down the first time, too thin of a wall for the O-ring crush amount. I almost sucked o-rings and phenolic material through my motor.

Long ago I had thought about spacers but there didn't seem to be a demand. This is the first time I have heard of anyone asking about one.

What are we looking at for cost since we seem to be the only two who want a one.

I just want one for the ease of install for the nitrous. I would rather have it installed in something like that post TB rather than before the TB and be spraying fuel all over the plate and such.

We are not set up to do small one off parts and really need to make ten or more of an item to be cost effective. Jon, you could modify your existing TB adapter to use as a spacer by drilling out the threads and using longer bolts.

You got a point, but I hate to kill it and make it un-usable for the 3500 upper. I'll have to look into what I can do there.

                Thanks for the help.

drilling out the 3500 spacer isnt a bad idea. would the same setup work on my stock manifol? if not is it possible to get a spacer without bolt holes that i could drill myself to fit the car
