  • RWD 3.1 crank in RWD 3.4?

At school I've been tearing apart a 3.4L out of a 95 Camaro and on the crank it says 3.1L. Is this normal?

They are the same crank, so yes. Only difference between the 2 engines is the bore.

Yea thats the way they are. I have never seen a crank that says 3.4. I am willing to bet every crank up to the 3500 says 3.1L except for the 2.8L of course.
