ok, all this is going into my 87 S10. factory 2.8 TBI truck.
the re-building of the harness is mostly complete already. just have a couple of questions:
1. i heard something somewhere about wiring changes needed to convert the PCM to read a 5 speed. anyone know?
2. this PCM can operate the electric fans. has two outputs for it according to my wiring diagrams. they go to the fan relays. are they grounds or voltage signals?
3. it has an input for AC signal. what does this require? im looking to retain the AC from the s10, using the later sanden compressor.
4. no provision for a cam sensor. the 3.4 has one. should i just ignore it?
5. how can i go to a heated 02 sensor? im running long tubes, and want to make sure im going into closed loop.
these are all i can think of right now.
