  • 3400 aftermarket cam shaft

I am interested in a cam upgrade on my 3400 cavalier, something aggresive but I don't want to cut pistons, any one know of an inexpencive cam/spring set up

i dont know if i would trust this guy, but i think he's one of only a few that sells them:

I think all this 'aggressive cam' phase is being caused by 3400-95-modified haha

Well.. since i currently have the record for N/A WHP in a V6 Jbody i'll say that you are going to need a lot more than a cam and headers to beat me. You will have to spray it to get 300 WHP.

I'm at 275 WHP with a huge cam in a 3500, longtube headers, ported top end, 75mm TB, true duals and a 3.5" CAI and lots of tuning. That is with a 5 speed.

its a 1996 cavalier 2.2 car with ....I think a Isuzu trans??? I swapped in a 3400 out of a 2001 grand am gt self tunned with a Megasquirt, then a Eaton M62 Off of a Bonneville that I ported, and im running a vortec 5.7 throttle body.

I normally run at rockfalls, WI with my lt1 camaro(11.56 on a 80hp dry shot) but I have not ran this car yet. man huge props on the numbers on the rollers! that is numbers the 5.0 guys dream of lol

Not unless you want to see a straight piped, cammed 327 barely start... throw black smoke when you rev it up and not move because the trans is dead.

I have yet to start on it, it won't be too long before it's on the road though.

I got mine before WOT-Tech really started with theirs. I bought a stock solid core from Ben (wot) and had it custom ground at Delta camshaft.

These days just getting a new roller from Ben is a much better deal, i'm considering getting a new one myself down the road.
