  • lx5 TC braket

i bent this up from a 3400 throttle cable braket, i'm hoping it will work with drilling and tapping 2 holes into the adaptor plate, this should go off with out a bang, check it out.

        Interesting way to do it...

But did that change the distance the cable is to the linkage? If so, then you might have an issue where it's open all the time, or doesn't reach WOT... The bottom bolted up works to be just the right spot I've found so if that position changed where the cables go, then you might need to re-adjust the bracket..

gar70614 What car do you have? My beretta throttle cable would not snap into the LX5 bracket..

            Nice job guys!

Bob, how far in between is it from center to center on those bolt holes to go into the top of the adapter?

John, if your talking about this measurment,

it has lots of forgivness, i made this up in 4 minutes with a hammer and a vise in -35*c temp, i just mocked it up to satisfy myself that this was going to be a easy task, and it was! i'll have to wait till i get the adaptor, i have no clue how thick it is or anything. i cant even find a picture! and hey, if anyone needs 3x00 parts exluding the 3500, i could probably snage just about anythign for next to free, like intakes to heads for 15-20. anything small would be free. so if someone wanted a stack of these brakets, i could get them. theres alot of these cars at the wrecker now.

Grab a few for sprares, I'm sure they'd come in handy for someone. Hell for the intakes/heads Ben would probably want them for porting cores.

I know Ben is in need of some 3400 upper manis, I looked at my yard and last time I went, they were laying all over the ground, this time they cleaned up
