  • Piston selections for a 3100

I was on the WOT site and it seems pistons are not available anymore for my motor, can anyone tell me where I can aquire High or Low Compression pistons for the 3100 motor or will 3400 pistons work...

I will have forged pistons on the store but I am no longer selling stock replacement pistons. They are available elsewhere.

Ok cool thanks for the info, quick question on the 3400 pistons will they work in my motor if I go like 30 or 40 over?...., ya know to get that 10.5 to 11. ratio depending my decision... I was thinking of just keeping the 9.5 er's and going turbo but being that I've already purchased the headers its my idea to stay N/A.

No, you have to use 3100 pistons. I added the forged 3100 pistons to the store.

Well they are the same bore. But 3x00 pistons are dished where as RWD pistons are flat tops which means your compression is going to go up quite a bit which will give your engine a good power boost. But you need a way to tune the computer after that to get 100% benefit from them or any other major mod you do.

Ok well HP has those tuners that are more involved but as said in another thread are more then worth there weight in the long run.
