Ok, I have searched the site for hours and have not found a definitive answer.
I have a 3.1 Vin T long block. It is a FWD block I needed for the starter location, but it is going into a RWD car. I would like to put a small port 3100 manifold set on it. This is so I can point the throttle body to the front of the engine. I have no firewall clearance with a rear facing MPFI set up with the non-symetrical bolt pattern.
My question is will a low flow 3100 (striped) lower manifold bolt to the heads? I am not looking for more power or flow.
When the engine is done I will probibly use a megasquirt 2 on it as the ECU. I will not be using a power steering pump or the FWD engine mounts.
Checking here and other sites I have seen the heads on the Vin T listed as 88-90 only and also as 90-97. I am confused.
