intensions for the car are:
EDIT:
I forgot to mention Questionable items:
Also i didnt know about the LX5 TB swap, i'll pick one up tomorrow, thank you very much Redbird, i need to save as much money as possible, and still keep this reliable
Thank You all In Advance
- 05' 3400 block with low km 80,xxxkm
- cylinders bored out .020 for new pistons
- forged pistons availble from the WOT store, ideal for a 11.5:1 ratio,
- street/strip heads from WOT store
- head gaskets to accomplish 10.9:1 ratio (not sure which ones to use)
- Double roller timing chain (is this going to last a long time?)
- 3400 upper and lower intakes ported to just gasket match
- throttle body (i have no clue what size to use)
- pacesetter headers for 3400 (not sure if they will work for the 3500 heads
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-70-1207/ - Dual exhaust is a possible plan with dual FlowPro resinators/mufflers
- Custom CAI from the lower bumper cover
- Dyno tune
- trans will have a shift kit
- Not sure what to do with the cam...(check out my intensions)
- ARP studs and bolts for sure, there to cheap to skimp out on
intensions for the car are:
- 2005 monte carlo
- daily driver
- lowered 1" all around
- 19x8.5 rims, 245/40/19 tires
- I want to have enough power to light up the wheels, you know, have some fun in the Baba car
- Noticble chug at idle
- Decent fuel economy to the point where I won't regret the extensive motor work over swapping in a much larger motor,
- hope to be at or above 25 MPG some how I'm getting 31-34 with a heavy foot, some how...
- No plan's for FAI
- Possibly N02 in the future, but not more than a 30 shot for S&G's
EDIT:
I forgot to mention Questionable items:
- Roller tip rockers
- lifters (is there anything that will improve over stock)
- pushrods (suggested for better lifter preload)
- replacing bottom end bearings and cam bearings (i have no clue how costly this could be)
- 3500 upper intake (thanks for pointing out Red bird that I need to get the lower aswell)
Also i didnt know about the LX5 TB swap, i'll pick one up tomorrow, thank you very much Redbird, i need to save as much money as possible, and still keep this reliable
Thank You all In Advance
