i think i'm going to scrap the idea of a S/C, be happy with a N/A, shoot for 230 WHP with 3.69:1 gears, and just drive it.

you cant though, your better off to start with a milled off version of the original intake, because there has to be room for push rods inbetween the intake ports, which makes this that hardest obstical, its do-able, but it will have to see a mill once the base is made... then again, and again... i didnt even thing about it myself till i had the intakes off and i was like SOAB, this wont be so easy.
I'll get a nice choppy cam and be as happy as possible.

yes, of course its possible, its just more work than i would intend on doing right now with my crack addiction of project cars. multiple pieces would have to be cut, then welded on and in place, and a final mill for the 60* wedge would have to be done to ensure its sitting flat and straight before you weld on and figure out heights of mounting surfaces (aka blower) then after its all said and done, and it odviously being made out of plate aluminum, it would have had a chance to warp slightly, so i would get everything milled yet once again.
With our intakes theres 6 separate sealign surfaces to each side, and one on the bottom, thats alot to get right after all that work, where as a SBC hads one per side. each intake runner, coolant jacket, and valve cover area has to be sealed perfectly. i never thought about this before till it was apart infront of me.

Ok, so I finally managed to go to the old house and drag my old (and very rusty ) 3100 out of the basement and up the hill, and load it onto a trailer. I also got it up on the stand this evening, so I can finally start messing around with some mock-ups. We'll see how it goes. Don't really have the $$ right now to spend on the Mustang, so might as well do some sort of car work.
I hope to be able to start putting together some articles as well, since I have an engine on a stand and will be able to take pictures, document steps, etc, and not worry about having to rush to get it back together so I can drive it.-Brad-

only problem is that there a bit undersized for a 3.4/3.5 L engine, as they claim there made for .5l-3l engine diplacements

Which is 62 cu in or 1.01599797 l per revolution. 76 cu liters per revolution is the largest charger they have listed. In comparison the M90 is 90 cu in or 1.47483576 cu l per revolution.
On a side note my whipple is 1.6 cu l per revolution with a case size smaller than an M62......

If everything works out right, I should have a rough 3D CAD model of a lower intake this evening. From there, I can start playing around in CAD some more to develop a new lower intake.-Brad-

I have casting capabilities - I would love to see a nice S/C LIM setup for a 3x00 - it would be a fairly complex part to cast and machine but that might get it compact enough to fit with minor mods to the hood
I wish I had room for an extra motor to do mockups onRIP - 94 GP SE
