Those are not what you want to start with. They are designed primarily for RWD applications were there is limited space such as the MG conversion. You would be better to start with something else or make your own from scratch.

The ones in that link look to me like they've been coated.

Both FWD & RWD engines are swapped into the MGs. The FWD engines are better performers but not everyone uses them. So we sell headers for both style engines. Could those be used on a FWD car? Probably but there are much better options.

Ben: The headers in the picture have the optional ceramic coating but your are painted with VHT high temp black.

Edit: Damn... I need to finish my posts quicker so Jon can't pull a ninja on me

Well what I was going to do was use those and then bend the pipe 90* and weld it together so that they meet below the throttle body for the turbo.

                something like this

Ben will have generic turbo headers soon.

I may be going to pick up loner's car if it's worth it, but we know he ran 12's with my turbo design, Ben's cam/heads, Marc's (TCE) TB and phenolics etc.

If that happens, more will come to be, but for now, you want make the y-pipe the headers are ready to go. Contact WOT.

Soon, as in there is enough serious interest and time allows. We are making the j body headers starting tomorrow.

The last statement meant that if you are willing to make/have made the y-pipe and downpipe, then those type of headers are a quick turn around. Turbo placement and y pipe and vary greatly from platform to platform and is much easier to do on the spot.

Alright. I think I might use them. I'm going to continue doing some research/thinking of other ways.

i'd love the idea to have turbo manifolds ready to go. saves me a TON of time piecing my own together. even if it were just the front and rear manifolds, and just custom make the crossover. that would be the biggest variance between the different bodies j/l/n/etc. what kind of prices would we be looking at? im fully supportive for them, thats for sure
