  • Custom Headers???

    a Friend of mine wants to do headers to my car....3100 v6 sfi chevy lumina...now i know making headers is not just welding tubes...i want to know the specs of one...size of tubbing ect, ect.....any help or pics would be greatly appreciated

    Search google for S&S headers, they are going out of business but that will give you an idea to start with.

      i only got two pictures out of them...i need more...and i need to make the formula for sizing...since it goes out in pulses and stuff...i need the good stuff...i already have the colector they use...but i need more

        You'll want to use 3/8" flanges for strength, WOT-TECH store sells them.
        1 5/8" primaries. Ideally would be equal length, and if you can fit it, long tube. I think it was something like 32" works out ideal but it's been a while so I'm not positive.

            Search around for posts by SuperDave, he posted up pics of his long tubes he made for the cavalier, I think in the Beretta/Corsica Header thread..

            Lots of photos there. Not sure how the firewall is in a Lumina, but the other stuff will give you an idea.
