Ok, so due to my to the fact that I have this limited space in my crazy little car I have to run a smaller starter. The stock RWD starter hits the frame..ugh
Well to combat this issue, I invested in a Big block race starter. One of those little gear reduction type with high on torque..
So it's lasted about 6 months till it left me stranded a home depot..ugh
had to push start it to get it running ( ha ha try that with your auto's)
pulled the starter out to fine out that 1st off both bolts were striped out full threads still intact on bolts? and B. the press fit gear that in gages the fly wheel had been stripped right off the shaft of the starter...
Karma's a bitch...
no jack-n-cokes till after all the bolts are tight....
