what the hell are you talking about. in that pic with the 3400 uim those are ONE PIECE SOLID spacers that are 1 1/4".

whats on there now is a set of 1/2" spacers completely DIFFERENT than the ones in the pic. you do remember what 1/2 spacers look like right.

now for one last explanation since this is the last time im saying it. the ones in the pic are SOLID 1 1/4 spacers. what i have on now is 1/2" SOLID spacers. two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT sets.

and for the last why do you give a shit so much its NOT YOU CAR. end of this im tired of explaining stuff to you.

1-1/4" wow that is thick. It looked like you multi layered spacers, I never seen your car in person nor have I kept up to date with your car.

I care enough since you are a 60degree enthusiast and I seen the picture posted. Don't take it the wrong way, sorry that I made you tired, that is a first for me to do that to someone.

i might have looked different cause of the oil that ends back up in the intake drips down and soaked into the spacer.

i was originally told they were 1" spacers and never thought twice about checking but when i was measuring for bolts i found out they were 1 1/4". i got them from Ben. back then i was originally going for something in the 3/4 range and then he said he had 1" so im like ok thats cool.

before he told me he had a set of thicker spacers i was just going to get a 2nd set of 1/2" and epoxy them together and paint it or something so it would appear as one.

Now im using a 3500 uim currently upainted with 1/2" spacers. i figured id just wait till spring when its warmer to paint. here;s a pic of how it currently sits.

here's the only front facing shot i have to give a little more clarity to the spacers. i think its the oil that gets sucked into the uim that drips down that makes them look multi-layered.

sorry about the above post. it came out wrong.

3500 uim FTW! Something about those lx9 uim I do like them a lot. Going with same color? That color was unique, what color was it?

yeah i was thinking about going the same color. dont know if i want to smooth down the higher areas and leave the sunken down areas textured or just paint it as is.

the color was believe it or not the duplicolor graphite rim paint. HWP102 Graphite. i still got to redo the valve cover since somewhere in the process it got nicked.

the more you put on the darker it gets. i think on the 3400 uim i used most of the can, id say about 80-85% of the can.

i did the lim the same color and somehow they all have a slightly different shade of the color.

I dig that color. Rim paint, hrmm.

I'd smooth it down and paint it. That color deserves a smooth surface.

i painted the crosslace wheels i had on the beretta years ago that color and it held up good in the weather.

yeah i think im gonna smooth it after all its only really the top that needs to be smoothed out.

i was going for something other than just painting everything black and the regular paint colors left a little to be desired.
