fine tuning it as a daily driver, no other update as of yet. Runs much better than the open plenum.

          You think so?...lol...
there funky log headers I build for a S/C setup...
I just haven't gotten around to building a nice set of good headers...
It looks like a lot of room from the top but the point they pass by the bell housing I have about a 4" window i have to hit... done the job so far....

If ya search his older threads, you can see why the scoop is where it is.
Use to be a carb under it.

That will never happen, and it was only $50, MSD was $15, plus shipping made it $100 even.

And to run a serp setup you gotta buy a new snout from Mike Fageol that is $500+.

And serp is a bad idea, I know 2 who have done it on built 60*s and they had problems with belt slip, one guy going and extra mile to put two idlers real close to the snout to increase tension and still had slip. [ he is the one who will sell for $1000 but it don't come with any of the serp stuff.]

Why it comes with a cogg setup new but you can't get them anymore. Other guy I know 614street [google] bought out all of what Mike Fageol had a few years back, though Mike will still make replacement parts n stuff like the serp snout for a tidy fee.
