I killed one of those bronze gears in that time period too Might have been the LS6 springs and the UDP causing those issues though.

hehe yeah, I hope not. I've got a lot of potential problems that I don't know what could be causing the wear. Ben also told me the springs I'm using are on the limit of what I can use for my cam and I should be using the Comp 26986 springs. Those would actually allow me to use a cam with higher lift and he also has a cam profile that would be better for me. My oil pump drive gear doesn't "appear" to be wearing excessively at this point, but I still worry about that too. I'd love to just change the cam and not have to worry about the gear or the bearings, but since I moved I don't have the equipment to pull an engine in my garage anymore and it would be quite a bit more difficult.

When I eventually do get around to it I'll be doing the cam and springs, as well as the 94-98 timing chain set and taking off the billet crank pulley I'm using and putting the harmonic damper back on. Lots on the "to do" list.
