  • Accel Adjustable FPR 74566

Does this fit? Looks like it would. 74565 and 74566 are the P/Ns. One is flipped where the mounting tab is. Looks like the 66 one is the one to use...

30-70psi adjustable. If it fits boom there ya go for making your injectors have a little more fuel before having to upgrade them. Accel brand isn't the best though for ignition stuff... But the FPR should be simple enough to be ok...

    Anyone use these?

I'm scared of anything with Accel on it... especially if it lasts as long as their coils.

Also note the 66 one is only 25-60psi... I run 63psi right now.

Ya 25-60 is probably not enough, or at best pushing the limit of the part.

I'm at 48 vacuum, 58 vacuum off with a stock Grand Am regulator, and the original fuel pump.

Accell gets alot of bad imput for their ignition parts and injectors as Jon stated, and I agree there are likely better options.

Why not just use the stock stuff?

Doh, didn't see that the 66 one didn't go to 70psi. Those with the 43.5 psi can upgrade to the 55psi one to bump their 19#'s to 21.36lbs, but I was thinking if that wasn't enough, boom go up to 70 for 24.1 lbs.. Or those with 55psi stock that need more..

Just a cheaper option than new injectors if you just needed a *little* increase in flow to lower your duty cycle.

I just saw it and wondered if anyone had discussed it before. I think another brand that was larger was discussed once, but this looks like stock size and all.

Yeah new injectors are the best way to go. I know Accel stuff is junky, but figured this was the simplest thing compared to injectors or coils, that they could possibly get this right... lol

Some people can, I can't... There is no stock regulator that does 63PSI that fits our application so I needed to use an adjustable one. I just wish I was using Ben's... I'm using a Casper's unit now, and so far so good, but it is old.

My injectors are from a Trail Blazer and were run at 63PSI not the normal 55PSI for the M-2's
