I think I'd have to re-port the whole neck in one to get my 70mm TB on there and I don't have much ambition to do such a thing.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

This TB neck stands about 4" above the top of the plenum, so I doubt it would be just a bump. I know a small port 3100 with 1" spacers causes the plenum to hit the hood on a Beretta, so figure it will be about the same with a 3500 style and any other car platform. So look at ~3" protruding from the hood...-Brad-

Brad i got 1" spacers and a large port 3x00 UIM on the 5th gen grand am and it doesnt hit the hood.
the only thing that touches the hood is the wiring harness. Nick G probably could get away with maybe 2 or 3inches at the most.sigpic

does the equinox 3400 upper share the same port shape and bolt pattern as the 3.5L vvt and 3.9L vvt? Just realized the headaches it would save in term of power steering location for those motors if this manifold would bolt up. Then of course you have the hood issue(nothing a cowl couldn't take care of in rwd platform )98 camaro swapping in lz9 th400 setup
