  • there was a guy on quad 4 forum that leaned out the engine fuel on is Q4 and could literally do twice the mileage with a single tank. but i think is cylinder heat was very high.

      yes it would be. lean AFRs do have high cylinder temps...

      it's why i am kind of wary about leaning it out above 16.2:1... it's what i run for highway fuel mode... i think any leaner, and it would start misfiring or knocking...

      • I've gone past that, but not for an extended period. mine were usually in the 16's with lean cruse enabled.

                              • Its called gen 1.5 actually.

                                Don't tell him that, he will never finish them he just needs to coat them and thats it for the L bodies. J bodies are in progress for welding.
