  • well i know they are on the todo list. and i was being serious about the rear turbo. hah.

    • Little tough for my application though lol,

      But will be just be using stock manis and block off rear and custom crossover for now,
      That will at least get me started with the engine swap etc.

      3rd Gen Cavy has 3500 Installed!

      Trans: 2002 Getrag F23 5speed
      Pcm: 2001 Impala La1 3400 with complete Engine Harness.
      Injectors: #36 GTPs
      TB: 65mm TCE
      Maf: 1999 3400 Montana.
      Adjustable TCE Fuel pressure Regulator
      Walbro W1 255 pump from Racetronix.
      Beverages: Ice Cold CANADIAN.

      • Cutting off the top fan spoke is no big deal. Mine has been like that for two years and I beat the hell out of my car. 100* weather and everything I can throw at it.

        Still the original '92 3.1 fan.

        Three spokes is plenty strong!!

                must be that 800x600 resolution you guys are using.

                John how hard is it to install the springs on those ball joints. never saw a setup like that before. how much tension is on them to keep the pipe pulled together.
                looks like they would work better than than the doughnut gasket setup.

                  I wish i had known about them when i did mine.. i hate doughnut gaskets.

                            • wow, that's cheap. might have to order some up this weekend...


                              I'm using 2 bolt flanges cut from Gen2 3.1 crossovers right now.

                              • ive got the 3 bolt that came on the TOG headers. there's 2 pretty much like the stock crossover. something like this would be a hell of a lot easier than screwing around with the crappy doughnut gaskets and the 3 bolt setup.

                                i just got to see what the OD of the pipe is. honestly dont remember.
