  • Got a few questions about my monte.

    Hey everyone i have a few questions, I just got a set of fuel injectors from the j/y, They are off a 95 Z34 with an LQ1. I know i have to tune for them but they should work right? I was also thinking of getting a catback off of a Z34, But i am not 100% sure if it will bolt right up or not. Also can anyone tell me what my options are as far as a downpipe? I know i can get one from ZZP but if i am able to get one off of some car at the j/y and have it bolt right up that would be awsome.

    your injectors now should be 19lb/hr, while the 3.4 should have 21lb/hr(?), while slightly larger and a tune would be advised, they will work.

    i would be wary of stuff from MMS. ask someone here who has bought stuff from milzy and then go from there.

      Bump. Thanks. So does anyone have a definite awnser on the lb/hr on 3100 and 95 LQ1 injectors?

          no, you're right, the 3100 uses 19lb/hr...

            Ok cool, Now if i can just find out if the DOHC injectors are for sure 21lb/hr i should be good to go. If anyone has any other info that may be useful feel free to chime in.

                  I got some more questions for you guys. I am thinking about buying a downpipe from ZZP for the monte, They say it is for the 3400 impala, But i see no reason why it should not work with the monte. What do you guys think?

                    Bump. Got a new question, And it's kind of a noob one. A buddy of mine has a set of autolite 104's with less then 1K on them, He got new plugs and said i could have his. I'm about due for new plugs anyways. My question is, Would that heat range be good for a N/A car with my mods? If someone could school me on heat ranges with N/A cars it would be much appreciated
