  • 94-95 Beretta 3100

I've got one of these sitting in my garage now that's seized. Is there anything interesting I should be keeping off this engine?? I know it's a small port 3100 so forget the intakes. The heads don't have the knotches for the self aligning rockers. I know the rockers are the 1.6:1 so I'm going to keep those. Anything else? Would the pushrods be good in a 3.1/3x00 application?

depends on what you're planning on building...

Junk. You can't use the pushrods for a flat tappet cam setup.

Keep the rockers, fuel rail, oil dipstick/tube and any brackets/clips for wires, hard heater core lines, sensors.. then scrap the rest.

Just curious as to why you would say oil dipstick tube?? I didn't mention it before that the engine was still in the car, a 97 Grand Am because I didn't want to explain why a 95 engine was in a 97 car.

I was already planning on keeping the hard heater lines & throttle cable for my gen 3 swap in my 94 Z since those exact parts worked so well on the hybrid in my 89.

Good call on the sensors though. You just reminded me that the TPS and IAC are missing on the 3100 I bought and have still to go pick up.

Yeah rob all accessories if you're doing a gen3 swap. Bottom end is toast, so that's no use. And yeah intakes are small port and heads aren't the best gen3 you can get, not even notched for roller rockers...

If the gas cap door hinge is decent you could sell it to a beretta owner. Same if the tails are in mint conditon.

Everyone else already has the motor covered.
