Ok, I was able to find the other two as well. One is for a 4cyl, the other two are the 4.3 but I don't know what application.

BHFM for the 2.2L is the only one with DIS, it has the inital spark advance set to 66 degrees.

Any other ideas why my DIS isn't working right? I'm so close! Other than the tendancy to die with the bypass opened, it's drivable.

I can get one, I was having trouble getting WinALDL to log on Windows
7, but it works if I run it as administrator. I never figured out how
            to datalog with tunerpro.

Just for kicks, I tried my '7747 last night too. Behaves the same.

does WinALDL log this specific datastream? if so, go for it. if not, i'm sure i have a ADS or ADX for use with TP v4 or v5...

                Yeah, WinALDL does the 7747/8062.

Line 970 was the closest it came to dying on this drive. When I clutched while coasting to a stop. Kind of gargled at for a second, log says 275 RPM. The only thing I did different was set the advance to 66 (based on the setting in the 2.2 bin), I had it at 60 before.

WOW, what a horrible way to write logs.... i can barely tell what the hell i'm looking at. i just downloaded winaldl, no option to export to CSV or anything?

EDIT: opened it in Excel, now i can at least get a good idea of what i'm looking at. it's hell in notepad though.

ok, looking at it, i see that the IAC opened up to 50 steps at that moment, next sample you're at 1225RPM with no change in throttle, or at least VERY little change. what BIN did you use to start with? and do you still have my e-mail address? if so, send your latest BIN and i'll see if i can find anything that looks funny...

I'm working off the stock Trooper bin, $42 AKHS.

I think I have your email, I'll dig it up.

I should also mention that most of that log is with the bypass open, should see the error flag when I changed that. I started with the bypass closed, but when I shift into third and above it knocks bad. So I shut it off and opened the bypass, that's when the knock count reset. Had some almost dying right after I started it, and when I was trying to get out of the snow bank I stopped in.

I am running $4E on the 1228062. I sent both files.

It doesn't seem to be dying and dipping as low as it was since I upped the advance to 66 (which actually retards the table, right?), but it seems I'm a little under on power. There's just a bit of highway by my house that I had been able to pull in 5th gear at 55-65, but I was slowly losing speed this time.

looking at the file now. notes:

you've never changed maximum advance/retard: possibly an issue.
the IAC error code is disabled.
