Pure Power filters are reusable and they claim to be more efficient at removing 10 micron particles or smaller than paper. They won awards at SEMA and were featured in a ton of magazines. http://www.gopurepower.com/
Jesus Palomino... Those look amazing. I'm guessing equipment oil filtration on things like the space station would require something as expensive, robust...and re-usable as those are, too.

It's an interesting choice of names ...in either case....or perhaps you selected it from the character in the movie "Dogma"...?
I got it from a tabletop strategy game called Warhammer 40,000. The commander of the Dark Angel chapter of the Space Marines goes by that name. It's funny how the name pokes up here and there.

For the actual differences involved, the $4.00 AC Delcos @ 25 look pretty good.

Even the K&N at about $8.00 and 10 is a good deal.

Now advertising claims are just that. Claims by some testing lab they paid to achieve those results.

There are good disposable filters available and if you change your oil regularly, use good stuff, (Mobil 1 for me now that Royal stopped making 0W30) and use a respectable filter, 99.99999% of our engines will be fine.

I'm a real big advocate of using synthetic motor oil (just not for breaking in freshly re-built engines). For as long as I can remember...I've insisted on using Mobil 1 and the Mobil 1 Oil Filters, too. To me....3,000 Miles means just that...at Three Grand ...the oil and filters in my cars get changed. Period.

As you can tell from the majority of my posts that have anything to do with engine lubrication, I'm really keen on keeping it clean...and very well oiled, too. My wife thinks I've been drinking Mobil 1! Well...maybe just that one time...LOL...

that .00001% of engines were doomed anyway due to manufacturing processes not being perfect....
