and again... im also at a loss here as well. the engine im using is from a venture, obviously no top mount or bracket, does the bracket bolt to the timing cover, or is it all connected? i want to say its 2 separate pieces form cover to top aluminum plate, but cant say for sure. alldata gives same part numbers for 99 alero and 97 venture timing covers so i have to assume the other piece will bolt on. ive been arguing with myself and finally decided to just ask someone who would know or has been down this road before. sorry for being a pain

Front cover is the same, with the possibility of some idler bosses being different. The motor mounts usually bolt to the head, so you should have to worry about the front cover at all.
