another dumb question about this venture/sunfire swap im going to attempt. is the 94-95 iron head 3.4's the engines used in camaros? if not what were they in? and robertissar (sry if i eff'd ur name up) directed me to WOTTECH whis said 3.4 iron head pistons would put a stock 3400 @ 12.39:1 compression ratio.is that daily driver material, or would that involve tuning? i live in podunk ohio and dont have the means to have any tuning done. but id like it to be a little more than a "stock" 3400. any suggestions would be very much appreciated! also in these suggestions please keep in mind i dont understand any of the engine codes ive seen used EVERYWHERE on here. so yea. sorry for bein a huge pain in the ace, but I WANNA PLAYYYYY

3.4 iron head is only found in the 93-95 F-bodies (Camaro, Firebird, etc).
Check out the Family Tree to find out more about the various engines.
As far as being in Podunk, OH, there are actually several guys who can tune that are either in OH or IN, so you may not be as isolated as you think. And the 12.4 CR would definately need significant tuning in order to be a daily driver, although it can be (and has been) done.-Brad-

ok thanks alot for the info. but i wouldnt know where to begin looking for someone to tune this thing, nor do i think i would have the money right away... possibly in the future though. would you know what spec cam could be used without tuning? or is there a solid stock spec replacement cam available?
