if i had a legal vehicle, i'd be glad to be included in the test group....

but i'm sure what you're saying is the case, its all down to the numbers/popularity...

its all down to this. its still going on. just on pause for the moment. i do apologize as there will not be any test cars chosen. i have 2 engines here for test fitment and trial. that way, if anything BAD happens, that way it wont be one of yall.

bottom line is....if you want them, you will wait. if you dont, you dont have to. i want to sell the first buy in quickly, but I will ask for input on that when the time runs closer.

So this project is still happening? That's cool. I'll keep an eye on it. Even though I'm now using a set of theor SBC rockers (modified of course) I still don't know if they are going to last longer than my crane's did, and I'd rather use, and love to see, something designed specifically for this engine.

The rocker arms AND the timing chain set.

Better than gold. Aluminum and of a higher ratio.

If you owned a company that typically makes parts for SBCs, SBFs, etc., how much time would you put into R&D for a product that will most likely sell the same quantity in its entire life that a similar SBC product sells in a month? Low demand for a product means it often gets put on the back burner...

IIRC, it took about 3 years and 2-3 companies to get a set of headers made. And I bet they (S&S) still haven't broken even on it.

They do sell out. But they prob dont make many in a run. Honestly IF gm kept the pushrod 3500/3900 these would still sell well into the future. I hope they do.

Honestly it takes money to get anything done. The good news is, the money is there, just sitting in wait.

And they don't even make them for a L-body yet, and I've proven its just a slight re-bend of the rear header and it would work.
