    same here

The 206/206 @ .050 lift 260/260 seat to seat duration cam with .480 lift works fine on a stock 94 ECM. 91-93 3.4 DOHC ecm and code will run a 4T60E though I never did try a 94 trans with more sensors. Shouldn't be a problem if he wants to swap the ECM, but there are options on a stock computer. Proven.

isn't the emission test done at idle? if so, having the EGR disabled won't matter, as long as it's connected.

many states do a rolling test too.

okay, thought i would chime in with my INFINITE WISDOMZ...

with a 4t60e he can run

2E(which is what he has, just needs to run/pay for tunercat or make a def for TP RT)
          DF(remove the MAF, add a MAP(if necessary)
1FA(A-Body so it has MAF, and technicly its not an older PCM than what he has, so i don't thats gonna fail an emission inspection)

i don't know much about obd2, so i couldn't help with options there...
1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!
          Latest nAst1 files here!
Need a wiring diagram for any GM car or truck from 82-06(and 07-08 cars)? PM me!

Lots of interesting and potentially usefull info here. I had not really intended on a pcm swap, but i may ultimately have to. I cannot find a hacker willing to work on mine, and eventually i want to install a 5spd manual. I have figured a way to simulate the PNP circuit, but the TCC and shift servos have me stumped. I may have to find an ecu from a 93 Grand Prix, or a 94 Sunbird/Cavalier. Where to find in depth wiring prints to do this? I live in Montana (Montucky?) so emissions arent a huge issue. Just want reliability and no MIL.

well, i would be one to talk to, i got the 94-95 3100 cars to run a 91-93 3.4 PCM correctly. i'm sure i could get the 94-95 3.4s to work with it as well...

although if you want to spend the $20 for the TDF from tunercat, we can get it working in tunerpro... and apparently there was a manual tranny option in the 2E definition...

After reading your thread on the OBD1 swap, it seems like you posses more info than my swap could ever need! I wonder if you could suggest a good ecu for the swap and some wiring diagrams? If you could supply one of your newly minted swap harnesses, i would surely be interested! I normally work the hardware end on cars, and dont have indepth knowledge of the electronics, just learn to keep what I have working. The obd1 is easier to tune for engine and FDR modification, isnt it?

my state did away with emission testing cars 95 and older. they did that since the figure most people have a 96 or newer car anyway.

one of the reasons they did that was because the dyno machines they use for it were wicked expensive.
