I'm going to be taking the bottom end of my 3400 apart soon so I can bring my crank to a machine shop and I'm wondering if I need to replace my arp rod bolts and my main bolts? Or should I purchase a bolt stretch guage to make sure they are not stretched?
Another question I have is since I'm already having my crank brought into a machine shop should I just buy arp main studs and bring the block in to have the mains line bored and honed? I'm planning on running around 20psi on my turbo 3400 so I'm just curious if you guys think I should upgrade to main studs or just keep the new factory bolts.
