Howdy fellows, its time for yet another thread about cam selection! I can see you're all uber excited already...
I was looking at http://members.shaw.ca/betterthanyou...haft_guide.htm and found the low-duration cams that I'd be interested in.
I'm not sure if these are what I need for a 3100 though. It seems that the gen3 3100 from the late 90s should be a roller cam block. A few quotes from betterthanyoutoo's cam page:
The problem is, summit lists these 252H's as flat-tappet, and only for engines up to 1994.
If these flat-tappet cams are not what I need for a `97 gen3 3100, what should I be looking for? Custom regrind of a stock shaft?
