Hi, im just confused on what to do with my phoenix i want a fast car for the track it it is 3760lbs with every thing in it so what motor should i put in and what auto tranny should i have and if i do race it i will proble take the seats out and stuff but for the motor first soooooo

any 1 have any ideas what block were to get started

Block,Crankshaft,Connecting Rods,Pistons,Camshaft,hyd. lifters?,Roller Rockers,Heads, intake manifild FI,SFI,MPFI,Carbed what kinda computer do i need and what wire harnes were to get it

is it a rwd ? or fwd ? it's not the best motor possible but for ease of intall if its rwd you can get a 3.4 camaro block and put a 3500 top end on it . and if its fwd you can get a 3.1 crank and pistons and do the 3400 top end swap. this way there is no fabricating mounts or nothing. if its rwd you can get adaptor plates and use any trans you like.if its fwd your limited to the th125 or the 4T60/65E the 4T65E will be the strongest
