  • How much of a HP Bump from adding...

    How much of a Horse Power increase from the baseline 160 HP can be expected with the following changes to an original stock 1995 GM 3.4L V6 OHV RWD engine after having these modifications?

    0.030" (0.75mm) Over Bore (No change in Rod Length)
    Bores finished for Sealed Power Pistons and Moly Rings
    CompCam 260H Camshaft
    CompCam 1.52 to 1 Roller Tipped Rockers
    Crane Hydraulic Flat Tappets(Lifters)
    Cloyes "True" Roller Timing Set (No 4 degree adv-ret)
    Re-Manned Stock Heads with ComCam High Lift Springs, Retainers and Keepers
    Pacesettter Ceramic Coated Headers (Wrapped in 2" Fiberglass)
    Welded Y-Pipe to wide mouth CAT
    True Dual Tube Exhaust System
    Stock PCM/Fuel Rail/Multec Fuel Injectors @ 18pph
    Stock Throttle Body
    No P&P of any engine internals/bolt-ons

    mabe 30ish or in the 20s ? quite more if u were to address the real HP robbing problems w/ that motor

      maybe 10-20 HP.

      you won't need true duals for sure.. 2.5" single is more than enough for that engine.


      if you want to gain power you'll have to scrap the iron heads plain and simple.

        WORD. lol. if she has her website still (redraif.com) she had alot more mods and still only got ~160 rwhp. thats without ecm tuning tho.

          start with head swap-seriously, get some 3400 heads/intake/a cam-mildly port/gasket match/clean that stuff up-you're looking at more power than what your talking about already!
