I'm attempting the same swap as you. When I started I thought I could put a roller cam in there but it does not appear one is available. I am assuming that the lifter bores are too short to support the use of roller lifters. I was hoping you knew something I didn't!

Personally, I am swapping to the FWD (dished) pistons so I can keep my compression under control....

ill do that if it wont require much modification-if the wrist pins will fit the rod no problem-id be happy to use them-altho id really like to have 10:1-11:1 CR, but am far too poor to spend the money for aftermarket pistons.

There is a shop selling Mahle pistons on eBay for $50 a set. Looks like the rings are about $120 though....

Depends.... These are brand name and new in box. Mahle has a good reputation, so in this instance I think the purchase is safe although the deal is not so sweet once you figure in the rings....

I think you have to take their word for it just like you take Summit's word when you buy Sealed Power or TRW pistons..

The guy selling is not an individual but a parts supplier so you are dealing with a business and not some unknown yahoo...

I suppose they could be Chinese knockoffs..... but I have yet to see anything like a piston get pirated...
