Will a 3.4L fit were my 2.8L is

Hi I have a 1981 pontiac pheonix LJ with a 2.8L v6 in it (FWD)

i have a motor mount by the crank pully and 1 that is bolted up to the tranny and 1 thats on top looks like a bone but yeah i want to put a 3400 in will it fit...or will a 3.1L fit becouse i kinda want EFI with a more hp

im trying to make a faster car i live close to a 1/8 mile track so yeah

and how would i make my car EFI what computers do i need and can i take them out of a car like a cav. thats ben in a reck and take the 3.1 and stuff out and put it in mine

In short yes it will fit. The Transmission will work too. Your going to need a donor car for the ECM and harness. Some guys like OBD I (pre95) and some like OBD II (post95) so check around or wait for more replies on computer preferences.
