    dont know,soon as i got the heads back completed i put them on the motor

    im very happy with them,put it this way

    9 psi landed me a 13.0 with the 3.1 lil more tuning would have gone into the 12's
    my old motor took 18 psi to break 12's with ported heads

    3.4 on another board with cleaned up/ported heads custom intake pretty much the same converter i run went 13.4 @ 15 or 18 psi (i cant recall the exact number but its deff inbetween 15-18 )

      his 13.4 run was on 15 psi just checked the other forums

          yeah lemme go grab them, theres 2 links in the one thread he said stock heads, then in another he said they were cleaned up and mildy ported

              ill dig up the info for ya and post the links. im pretty sure its a 57 or 60 trim, real garrett turbo.converter i know is a 3k stall.the cam im unsure ill have to look

                i stand corrected on the turbo it apears at that time he was running a t3/t4 46 trim
                id have to look at the various maps but he said the turbo maxed at 44#'s min. the turbine side was a t3 .82 with a .60 on the cold side

                heres the map for it


                he does have a cam but i couldnt find the specs alls i could find is that it came from delta,so im going to assume its atleast a 260 on a 114 lsa

                  Are you talking about username "Grape of Wrath"'s purple Camaro?

                  Tiago was in the 12's with a 3.4 and ported iron heads.

                    tiago went into the 12's on high boost with his,but i belive he ended up wounding the motor.somone had bought his shortblock and the cyls walls were bad

                      I sold a 3500 top end to the buyer of that motor and it's going on it, I'll have to ask what kind of shape it was in

                      Grape had no porting on his 13.4, Tiago spent $900 on pro-ported heads and they still flowed less than small port 3100's.

                      Too bad you won't indulge any more info on those CNC'd heads. Who digitized them?

                        theres pictures of it posted on ftv6 ull have to do some digging as the posts are way old.
                        grape stated in another thread that the bowls and casting flaws were cleaned up in those heads,unless he was talking about a diff set of heads since those runs were from years ago.

                        i did most of the work with input from my uncle and a friend of the shop from manley.

                        hours were spent between hand porting and having the head in and out of the bridgeport(luckily we finally had goten a digital/programable machine made the repetitious parts alot easier lol).and then the guy from manley did the stuff to setup for and the cncing

                        when we did this there were 2 sets done. one program requires no welding or mods like that to the heads.

                        the second set is what im running and i dont belive the few changes we made have any decent affect on the heads due to the valve sizes, but due to bore size we couldnt swap in anything larger then whats there now

                          ugh tuning this thing is a bitch.
                          im using 2 injectors per cyl, with the megasquirt
                          each set of injectors have there own fuel maps

                          problem im having is on the transition on bringing the second set of injectors in i get a huge rich spike

                          im bringing in the second set of injectors at 9-10 psi

                          i dont think its going to work as planned though and im prolly gonna have to drop back to a single injector per cyl

                              its almost ready,im down to my 2 last things to fix

                              #1 need to swap out my fmic,my stacked starion cores arent flowing as well as i thought,im seeing about 7 psi loss across the core

                              #2 i need to get the staged injection system working corectly, or swap out to single 60# injectors


                              ive already got a brand new fmic to go on the car so that will only take a day, and it shouldnt take me that long to get the fueling right on the car so say a week

                                new intercooler in, and fuel maps just about sorted out

                                my friend will also be able to tow me down to the dyno so everything is just about ready to go.

                                lil more tunning and i may throw another 2-3 pounds of boost at it

                                so we should be looking at say wensday/thursday for the car to be 100% ready
