im very interested in getting a megasquirt 2 system and putting it on my gen 2 3.1-but ive been reading on the site about how some cars computers control everything-which means if i just remove my ecm-that nothing will work. so my question to anyone on here that has a megasquirt II is-how hard is it to remove your old ecm & make the fuel/spark be run by the megasquirt only? im not talking programming-im talking hooking it up in the first place.
