how do you figure only 2? 60*, the 4.3(90*) is a 350 with 2 cylinders cut off, the 3.8 motors (90*)are unique as i dont think they share anything with 60* motors other than bellhousing pattern, i think cadillac had a 52* v6, and im not sure what family the shortstar belonged to. so thats potentially 5...

im sorry i forgot to push the SARCASM BUTTON. i figure there are only 2 because this is 60*v6 right...so what do the others matter. and FYI, the 3.89GM NOT BUICK) is almost the same as the 4.3...it can use the same intake iirc, but that is a moot point anyway. dont forget the 3.0 which was the 3.8s little bro too. but then you are going into diff companies within gm.

it isnt very obvious to some people. i would rather give an explaination why compared to just saying yes or no: the 3.1 and 3100 engines are from the 60* V6 engine family and the 4.3 is a derivative of the small block chevrolet V8; they are very different designs and due to many reasons few if any parts will interchange. oh and i forgot that both buick and chevrolet made 3.8 V6 motors. and ive never heard of an intake from either motor bolt to the other, but ive never tried it myself so i really dont know.

There are lots of V6s. No Doz is not a newb so there really is no reason he should have posted this.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer. Why go into detail? If there was a remote chance that they might work, then some explanation would make sense.

Actually there are 2 3.8L V6's from General motors. One From Chevy which was based on the small block, and one from Buick based on the Buick V8. The 3.8L Chevy motor quickly became the 4.3L and the Buick mainly stayed as a 3.8L but also morphed into a 4.1L 3.0L and 3.3L.

A Chevy 3.8L manifold and heads will fit a Chevy 4.3L block but a Buick manifold or heads will not.
