where to buy 3500 crank

i want to know where i can purchase the 3500 forged crank from?

is there any modifications needed to put it in a 3100?

you can purchase them new from GM for about $350.. look them up on www.gmpartsdirect.com

It won't work in a 3100 without clearancing the block for the larger rod mains or having the rod mains ground down to the stock 3100 size.

You can buy a whole 3500 for about $500-$600 www.car-parts.com if you look hard enough.

And then you have the rest of the good stuff.

You will need the external crank trigger also... The 3500 crank has a different reluctor wheel.
