I hope to make it next year, and it better be with the car.

I missed this year because of work. And considering it's 15 minutes from my house, I don't have much for excuses. Not that I had a "real" J body to show up with. My 2000 4 door, 2.2L daily driver Cav doesn't count.

Not yet. That's part of the fabrication that still needs to be done, but I want the turbo install done first. That way I can get the TB in the right position, adjust for any clearance problems.

i remember a ground down top half of the LIM, some couplers for the shortened runners to connect to the LIM, and 2.5"? dual plenums with twin 56mm TBs.

Yeah, that was the "experimental" intake. It worked though, and made more power too. The problem was the runner length wasn't optimal for the cam, but I knew that when I built it, that's why it was experimental. Power was definately shifted up higher in the rpm range.

I'll still be using the same lower section, but the upper will be new. Just a basic rectangular plenum with a LT1 TB.

                        250hp and 406 ft-lbs! And I bet it gets like 35/50mpg city/highway.

GM why oh why will you not bring a good small diesel to North America?

True, but if I could get v8 power with 4 cylinder economy for my DD, I'd be willing to pay the premium (although I wouldn't buy a Caddy, I'd buy it in something like an Impala or Malibu).

Our emissions are different than there's. It may pass over there, but it will not usually pass over here (or meet certain specs) . Same for the cars here, it might not pass for them, so they might not have some vehicles that we currently have..... We all know though, our domestic cars look horrid and they'd never want them.
