I'm looking at doing a set of valve seals on my 2.8 as it is beginning to smoke more and more. I did a compression check on the motor just a couple weeks ago to see if it would be worth doing, and everything is fine. So, I'm looking to replace my valve seals and figured I may as well do a set of springs while I have everything apart and possibly some higher ratio rockers (if there's some cheap replacements). What are my possibilities?

for rockers.. a set from a 94/95 3100 V6 is a direct bolt-in and they're 1.6 ratio so they'll give you a bit more lift.
If you abuse the car at all i'd pick up a set of LS1 valve springs, spring seats, locks and retainers from GM and do the beehive swap. Beehive style springs are much better than the old style.
you'll still be able to use stock replacement seals as well.

I'd go through www.gmpartsdirect.com, just look up everything for a '00 Camaro LS1
It might take a week or 2 to arrive but they usually have the best prices.

So, I dug up some part #'s and here is what I have:
12589774- Engine Valve Spring 2.17/per
10166345- Engine Valve Spring Cap Key 1.48/per
10166344- Engine Valve Spring Cap 2.18/per
but I can't find part #s for the seats??
Now, I also have an option of buying a set of 02 ws6 stock valve springs, retainers, seats and seals for about half the price88 Beretta GT
69 Corvette
79 Mustang Ghia
95 Cutlass Convertible
