Ran into some problems getting machine work done. My machinest is trying to track down stock deck height specs to no avail. How accurate is the 8.818" deck height listed in the specs page for the 3.9L. Not sure where to go from this point.

4.0L(after bore 3.917 and stroke 3.3485),carrillo sbc rods(narrowed),wiseco custom forged pistons 8.5:1 CR, TCE Double Roller timing chain, gen 3 cam, P&P heads, headers 1 3/4 primaries into 3-1 collector, and going to run ms2. -
If it's to help with a rod and piston choice, I measured/calculated the stock combo length from the big end center to the top of the piston and came up with 7.125". If they have the block, crank and pistons they should be able to mock it up and check. Can't depend on the spec sheet because of the 5.9" rods that are actually 5.827".Originally posted by Nightingale View Post
