3.1 mods?

Hi, im new to the forum and i have a few questions about my motor..


i have a 1997 3.1L lumina that i need more tourque from, and i am by no means trying to build it to 400 horse but i would like advice about this from people that know about these motors.


i would like to know is if the 3800 series heads would be able to be swapped to my 3100? i cant find performance parts for a 3100 but there are many for the 3800. what i would like to do is swap the heads and blower off of a wrecked/parted out 1997ish 3800 GXP to my motor.


please dont start flaming if this is a really stupid question

2 totally different engine designs/layouts/configurations (however you want to put it). So nothing will swap between the 2. Check out the link to WOT-Tech at the top of the page for mods for your engine (3100).
