I'm still in the process of learning this stuff my self so someone correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the ratio changed by moving the fulcrum of the rocker either towards the valve side of the rocker to lower the ratio then towards the pushrod side to raise it?

As far as duration i'm clueless.

So how does the ratio change ? The store says from 1.5-1 to 2-1. Do they change with speed and how is that done ? Or are they somehow altered to change the ratio ? It also states that the duration changes at higher rpm. Just need some enlightenment. The initial price is a real bargain.

    Pushrod requirements?

And this whole "what the hell ratio are they?" question.

I'm the first to admit I am an idiot with some of this, but DAMN IT, 'splain it in language your Grandpa can understand.

    And I will buy them!
Don't quote me on this but their should be no need for different length pushrods.

These are made to be bolt on ready to go. They will come with the pedestals. AND bolt. They of course from there will be non adjustable, unless you ca find an adapter stud that will work. NO grinding will be needed at all.

I have to admit, I am a little confused by some of the description.

And what is this pre-order pricing thing all about? $148.46???

I know I must of read this wrong, however if that IS the price per set, put me down to pre-pay for 4 sets.

EDIT: I just tried to order a set and it came up $299.00.

Still good, but I would appreciate some more info on this.

    Thanx

it's 1.8 intake, 1.7 exhaust. that's what Ben has recommended. others have said to leave the 1.6 on the exhaust. i find it hard to do that. it has something to do with thermodynamic efficiency. the exhaust needs to stay at a certain temp. more exhaust lift will lower the exhaust temps, thus losing power. though, i grew up with carburetors and distributors, so what rules applied then, seem to no longer be the rules of today. it's amazing what an LS1 455 can put out today!!!
