  • Has anyone used "gap-less" rings?

I was thinking about changing piston rings because It seems I may has cracked one of mine. They where federal Mogal I believe. Has anyone tried the gap-less ones, Are they what they're cracked up to be?. no pun intended.

    Thanks for any input.

At least a handful of us have. Never did a leak down test, but then again that doesn't really test the running motor. At that, never compared to the other rings. They work, but thats all I can say.

gapless are good for high compression and nitrous. from my tests at school; a properly gapped ring, and properly spaced ring WILL yeild the same power. plus who wants to pay $400 bux for rings for a 60*???? trust me i looked into it long before i knew the truth
