Nitrous does add oxygen to the mix. That's why you need to squirt more fuel. But yeah it's not "all motor" as all motor is N/A. Some even consider it more of a "cheat" than S/C or Turbo, because your car can't make that power all the time all day long as a normal function, you gotta re-fill that sauce.

yah well if thats the case then all engines are like that cuz u gotta fill them with gasoline
i dont care, NHRA doesnt think its cheating then neither do i...but ill see where i can get all motor, then add juice.. is what i meant

well, i guess im going to be the bad guy here...

ive been arguing with myself on what engine to swap into my fiero for a few months now... after going over price to power options, and tunning, etc...
            the 60* engines are out

ive decided to go with a 90* 3800SC. price per HP, it will be ALOT cheaper.
with just the swap it will drop me into the 12's, and if i add cooler, cam, injectors, tune, and a diffrent pully, the 11's.

but i am going to be buying a 95ish car as a daily beater, and prettysure thats going to be a 60*, and i doubt ill keep that stock

Stock L67 puts a Fiero in the 12s? Are you sure? A 3400 with a turbo would make more power than the L67 I bet. Adding a cooler to the L67 is not that easy or cheap... If you can fab stuff your self, the 60* is the better bang for the buck if you can source the components you need.

I removed the cutouts.. i had like 2-3" of ground clearance with them, made it really hard to drive.

that was with the full exhaust

It akes a super charged 3800 to make 20 more hp than a stock N/A 3500, and the l67 weighs a lot more

Look at Merlot's build, he got his first 3500 for $150

yah im going to have to put mine in a diff spot...it hits everything now, only prob is ill have to get a new center section for my borla...oh well maybe someone has a borla that wants a cutout. ill prob get it put right at the end of the first bend...kinda like the straight way out if you know what i mean, then itll give me more room to mount it instead of having all the heat shield there...just a straight pipe comming off with the flange at the end. then the cutout, electric of course...hehe

They used to make 350hp on the tiny 2.8s with 12:1 static compression back in the day. Im sure that can get you close. BUT with a 3500 you'll be way ahead with similar mods. What would be wrong using a Global 24v engine?

Im thinking 15:1, solid cam, Nitro? No N2O or boost.
