I just give it back . But seriously, 1. That intake looks tits. 2. There is no need for a cam

i agree...imagine infinatly varible cam profiles?
starting the car with no starter (if the engine can know which cyl is closest to 'fire', squirt fuel, spark, and move to the next in order, modifying the cam profile to aid the process...bingo..no starter)
        fuel economy!
low end hp, high end hp, and torque everywhere!
        tuning nightmares!!
freed up hp (no mechanical loss thru valve train)
        reduced valve train harmonics
'profiles' would be limited by valve to piston clearance only

there are just so many benifits that warrent at least an attempt. who cares if it doesnt work for 5 years, once it does, it will be magical!

of course failures here will be devistating. so it will be perfected on a test stand engine. who knows....maybe it could happen soon.

I wonder if it would be possible to use something like MS as the ECU for it. Instead of it plusing an injector, have it pulse a different type of solenoid . (But you prolly already thought of this

Okay okay. I'm going to bed before I state any more stupid obvious things... i'll leave you alone to your thoughts . And shouldn't you be in bed by now... it's like 2-3 am over there...

i do night classes. i go to class from 3pm till midnight. its nice.

and yes, thought of that too. but think i need more control and options, open and closed is important, but how fast, how long and when is just as important.

perhaps a new thread is needed....waaaayyyy off topic.

Here's what I've noticed with and without this MAF screen thing.

With: yeah, cars drives, ok then

Without: light throttle accel notice slight surging (very light throttle)

WOT yeah!!! sucky sucky the air long-time!

also less throttle needed for hiway cruising, hills, etc

i think ive seen flow charts before, for the lt1, and it shows 12cfm difference at 5K. not my idea of a good benifit.

i have a 3.4l impala, i just put ported intake and 65mm TB from wot-tech
it runs better. then stupid i am i put a cone filter on the maf and removed the box that held the k&N drop in. the air box gives me way better performance.
can anyone tell me what i did wrong??

Your filter is in the engine bay sucking in warm air. You want cold air.
