Pretty sweet, every time i drive my GAGT i think about how bad it needs a manual tranny.

6 speed swap would be awesome, but unfortunately I haven't seen a swap that isn't perfect... Not saying that they are hack jobs, but not the cleanest of installs.

I am sticking with the 4t65e HD swap.
I have the tranny, axles and two of the mounts ready to go along with the proper PCM file and wiring harness.

I know the rear wheel drive manual flywheel for the 3800 is thicker than the manual flywheel for the 60 degree V6, but I don't believe it's thick enough to make up the distance the input shaft is recessed into the bellhousing on the 6spd. The price list did not show an adaptor to superimpose onto the flywheel for proper spacing. Did I miss something, or did they decide not to show how they addressed that issue. The adaptor at least for the 60 degree V6 is about an inch thick.

Im seriously contemplating doing the 6 speed swap right now. On ebay, I just put in a bid on the transmission. I was thinking of a 4t65 also onefastv6, but dont want to deal with the electrical or worrying about clearing my headers etc. Not to mention it is a bit heavier, and the six speed will be more fun to drive.

After reading over the thread a few times, Im seeing a few things that could be cleaned up for a nicer install as well. Tim did a great job getting things working, and is definitely a pioneer in the GAGT crowd.

6 speed would be nice, but would require a lot more work and cost... at least for me.
I don't think there will be any problem with the 65e HD and header clearance.
As far as the electronics go, I have a .bin file that will run the 65e HD with out any problems, so it will pretty much be plug and play.
