I suck at picking cams, just wanting a little more out of it. I DD it and the thing takes off like a slug and takes forever to get up to speed. I'm not looking to drag race it or trying to build something with gobs of low end just something to wake it up a bit.

Mods so far include a k&n in an open 10 breather, coming soon: headers, 4.3 TB mod and later on a 3.4 as soon as I can find one.

If you want low end than the Comp Cams 252 Cam is the one you want.

For a daily driver the Comp or Crane 260 cams are nice. The Crane 260 would be a better low end and flatter torque curve cam than the Comp 260 but the difference between the 2 is little. I would buy whatever one I could get cheaper.

Its not the best cam but for $44 it may be worth it. It in not a horrible cam, it has a narrow torque peak but the lift numbers are descent.

I have the comp 260 with good results. Altough my motor is quite a bit different. I have a 3.1 bottom end with a 3400 top end. With the cam, port matched lim, 3400 exaust manifolds, exaust and cold air intake it starts pulling hard at 3 grand, but has loads of low end torque for daily driving. Its got a bit of lope to it, but its still running off the stock chip with 5.0 injectors and an 01 fpr, so its rich as a bitch. Still waiting on a tune.....but im going to try the pre 99 fpr and see what that does for me. 3.1 injectors were much too small...........
